Are you a licensed moving company?

Yes, we are licensed and insured. We meet all MNDOT licensing and insurance requirements of moving companies in Minnesota. Our licensing numbers are: US Department of Transportation License: 2184271 Household Goods License: 376439 Motor Carrier License: 782112

How long have you been in business?

Hedberg moving started in 2011. We have since tripled in size! Our crew leaders have over 100 years of experience combined. We take pride in being a family owned business & treating our customers like they are a part of it!

Do you require a Deposit?

Hedberg Moving Solutions does require a deposit in order to secure your moving date and time on our schedule. If your move needs to be rescheduled this deposit is transferred with you and applied to your new moving date. The deposit fee represents a promise between Hedberg Moving Solutions and you. We are committed to you and your moving needs and we reasonably know that you intend to use our services and notify us with any change of moving date and plans or cancellation. Payment of the deposit is due upon securing your moving date and time. The deposit can be paid by phone with credit or debit cards, can be mailed in or delivered to our warehouse with a check or cash.

Are my belongings insured?

Yes, within the state of Minnesota all moving companies are required to provide clients with a $0.60 per pound. This is provided to you at no extra cost. If you would like to purchase additional inside for you possessions, take a look at our insurance valuation table.

Can you move me out of Minnesota?

Yes! With enough notice for scheduling, we can take care of your interstate move! With Hedberg moving, your items are the only items on our truck. This does require an on-site estimate. Our team of well-knowledge estimates can you let know exactly what it will cost to move you!

Where can I get boxes?

We can lease you boxes! We carry a variety of sizes & shapes. Upon booking your move with us, you will place a deposit. If you choose to lease boxes from us, we will hold that deposit until the boxes are returned. You have 30 days after the commencement of your move to return our boxes. If you choose to keep them, we have different rates for different sizes. We can provide a pricing list for you.

What items cannot go on the truck?

Within the state of Minnesota there are some items we are not legally allows to move. We provided you with a list of items below that we are unable to move: Combustible products, Flammable products, Plants or soil, Pets, Aerosols, Any Illegal products.

Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?

If your dresser was factory assembled, then we only need you to remove breakables from your dresser. If your dresser was self assembled (ie: from Ikea or Target) then the dresser contents need to removed, but the drawers need to remain in the unit for structural stability.

Can Hedberg Moving disassemble/reassemble my furniture?

Hedberg Moving Solutions can disassemble and reassemble your furniture at your request. If these services are required please let us know at the time you secure your moving date and time. This way we can have the appropriate equipment on the truck the day of your move.

How are my items protected during the move?

We provide all necessary supplies needed to keep your items safe during transit. We provide pads, straps, & wrap. We also want to make sure we are taking care of your homes as well. We provide door & flooring protection as well. We require all mattresses have mattress bags. We carry those bags for a small fee depending on the size of your bed.

When and how do I pay for the move?

After your items have been delivered your moving crew leader with go over your bill of lading with you. At this time you will be required to provide payment for the move. Hedberg Moving Solutions accepts all major credit card like Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard; you may also pay with cash or check. Feel free to choose which ever payment method is most convenient for you.

What exact is the trip charge?

We charge you the time it takes to get from our location in Blaine, to your origin. We also charge you the time it takes from destination, back to our location. This is charged at our crew hourly rate. This will be a fixed time & caped, we do not charge if our crew gets caught in traffic.
